Understanding Brain Activity, One Signal at a Time
Safe, non-invasive EEG testing to diagnose and monitor epilepsy, seizures, and other neurological conditions.
What is an EEG?
An EEG is a diagnostic test that measures the brain’s electrical activity using small, painless sensors (electrodes) placed on the scalp. These signals are recorded and analysed to detect abnormalities in brain function.

The test is commonly used to help diagnose and monitor a variety of neurological conditions, including:
Epilepsy and seizure disorders
Unexplained episodes of confusion or loss of consciousness
Sleep disorders
Head injuries
Encephalitis and other brain infections
Brain function monitoring during coma or after a stroke
What to Expect During the Test
What to Expect During
the Test
  • Test Duration
The test is conducted in a quiet, controlled setting and typically lasts between 20 to 30 minutes. Longer overnight studies can also be done if requested by your referring doctor to capture extended sleep or brain activity.
  • Patient Position
You will be seated or lying down comfortably in a relaxed position for the duration of the test, ensuring minimal movement. This helps improve the accuracy of readings and ensures a calm, stress-free experience.
  • Electrode Placement
A technologist will carefully place a series of electrodes on your scalp using a gentle conductive gel or paste. This process is quick, non-invasive, and designed to ensure high-quality signals for reliable diagnostic testing.
  • Activation Tasks
You may be asked to perform certain tasks during the test, such as deep breathing, blinking, or viewing flashing lights. These activities help measure specific brain responses under controlled stimulation and improve diagnostic accuracy.
  • Safe & Painless
The procedure is completely painless, involves no needles or injections, and leaves no lasting side effects. After completion, you can resume normal daily activities without any downtime, making it safe and convenient for all patients.
After the EEG
Once the test is complete, the electrodes will be removed, and you can resume normal activities immediately - unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. The results are reviewed by a specialist and discussed with you during a follow-up consultation.
